If anyone knows of any areas within about 100 miles of Dallas I'd love to hear from You. I grew up on the gulf coast south of Houston, no pine woods there but a lot of pristine deciduous, supposedely good habitat as well, but in my 24 years (and hundreds of copperheads, I was always wondering why the field guides said copperheads and pigmies are usually colocated) I still haven't seen one. I only collect pictures, I just want to line out one more snake on the "Texas List". If anyone would be willing to share a locality please email me. Shane
