Fort Polk in WC LA (Rapides & Vernon Parishes and the Kisatchee Nat. Forest). There are lots of high pine ridges interspersed with swamps. When the water levels rise in the swamps, it seems to push these snakes farther up onto the ridges. It may be too hot right now to find them easily by field collecting, but road cruising might be good. Good luck.
