Sounds like it has a respiratory infection.

And about drinking water while you were holding her...that's not a big deal. Even when I have water on hand 24 hours of the day, my snakes don't usually drink when they are going through a shed cycle. They'd rather just stay in their hide box until it's time to shed and then get a drink. However, if I get them out and hold them next to the water bowl they will eagerly drink for a LONG time.

Wait a few days and then try to feed it something kind of small.

As far as the respiratory infection goes, I'd probably take her to a vet so you can get her on antibioics to treat the infection.
