For one thing, Rich has a 1-month guarantee on health and behavior of his hatchlings, so it's definitely not too late to bring it up... Certainly if you were sent a deformed snake (and I'm not aware of this sort of deformity spontaneously appearing -- it's either hatch with it or not), you are entitled to a replacement. I'm sure Rich'll make good on everything.
