I can't say positive, but I do know that when my snow laid hers, the one I watched her lay came out pinkish, but after a few hours was white and fine. I think they are pinkish until they dry a bit. You can see in the pic which egg was just laid, it's got that pinky-purple tone to it.


:My snake layed 8 eggs, her first clutch on Sunday(and I didn't even know her sex, never mind that she was gravid. The other one the same age as her is bigger and fatter than she was). And all look smooth still no wrinkling up, yet.

:Anyway, since they were layed 2 have a pinky/lilac patch on them. Is it just colouration, or a thin shell? If it is a thin shell, what's the chance of anything hatching from them, or will it tear under pressure at some point?

:I know it's really just a wait and see thing, but wondered if anyone could enlighten me.
