I don't recall where I read it, (Could have been the corn snake manual, the ball python manual or any of about a dozen other snake books I have) but somewhere I read that those pinkish areas sometimes occur in snake eggs and you should not worry about them. (Maybe I saw it on the breeding ball pythons video?) anyway~ where ever I heard it, they said not to worry, and that as the eggs mature you may be able to see the developing embryo's through those areas as they are thinner and act like little "Windows".
No personal experience in that answer....I'm just sure I read it or heard it somewhere, and I'm sure it was about snake eggs.
