I know breeders do it but is it ok?

Also, whats the deal with these racks. Most major breeders and owners I've ever have seen keep snakes in rubbermade shelf units like the one that site sells BUT most books and keepers tell you go go 20G/snake for good cage sizes (or something like that).

I want to expand my collection but can't afford the cage space, should I consider a nicely designed rack system like this (probably get lighting too), as a good way to keep AND show off my herps? Do these containers stress?

I kept my male in a plastic shoebox for about 3 weeks and he was VERY ready to get out anytime I opened the lid. He seemed stressed but has eaten 12 crawlers in 4 days so I'm thinking its not all THAT bad.
