:I have yet to see any myself. I did a quick search on google with minimal results.
:Other than a couple of mentions on 'Future Projects' lists, only one reference to charcoal motleys EXISTING.
:At the link below is a pic of a charcoal STRIPE. The breeder also has charcoal motley on their price list. Seems to be a whole lot of yellow on that charcoal stripe though. Looks to me to be an anery A. Also, on the photo page is a pic of an anery A motley. As well, the breeder sells snows & ghosts, but no blizzards or phantoms.
:If I had to guess, I would say the breeder is simply mistaken to what anery gene they are working with. Just my opinion though.
:The charcoal mots are priced at $85 Cdn (approx $55 american). Seems to me they would be a bit pricier as well.

:PS: Most likely there IS a charcoal motley somewhere, be it in a large-scale breeder's collection, or living 'quietly' in a hobbyist's collection.
:

Yeah, I figured, but doggonnit, they should be coming out soon, I would think. What blows my mind is that no one has them yet. Neither gene is that new. We have lav mots, butter mots, but no charcoal mots? And yes, like you, I believe they exist 'secretly' in some collections...was just hoping that we were close enough to them being produced, now, that someone would share a pic or two. ;)

As far as that 'charcoal' stripe goes, sure looks a whole lotta Anery A to me. JMO.
