I have yet to see any myself. I did a quick search on google with minimal results.
Other than a couple of mentions on 'Future Projects' lists, only one reference to charcoal motleys EXISTING.
At the link below is a pic of a charcoal STRIPE. The breeder also has charcoal motley on their price list. Seems to be a whole lot of yellow on that charcoal stripe though. Looks to me to be an anery A. Also, on the photo page is a pic of an anery A motley. As well, the breeder sells snows & ghosts, but no blizzards or phantoms.
If I had to guess, I would say the breeder is simply mistaken to what anery gene they are working with. Just my opinion though.
The charcoal mots are priced at $85 Cdn (approx $55 american). Seems to me they would be a bit pricier as well.

PS: Most likely there IS a charcoal motley somewhere, be it in a large-scale breeder's collection, or living 'quietly' in a hobbyist's collection.
