Silly question,but........................

I know this will probably sound silly,but I'm fairly new to herps and I keep seeing people refer to there snakes as 2.0, 1.1, ect. What do the numbers mean? And what does "Het" mean? I figured it would be easier to ask than to try & look it up. Thanks.
