As some of you might recall I had a female laying only 1 egg (the others were stuck).
That egg hatched a couple of days ago, but I don’t think the hatchling will make it. First off all I think it is blind or has some problems with the eyes. They are closed and the eyelids are black.
I also have problems feeding it. It will not take any food that I am offering and I can’t get it to open its mouth.
Further it is very inactive and just sits on a rock, most of the time with the head resting on the rock. It seems as it hasn’t the strength to support the head for longer time.
If any of you have experienced something like this or have any suggestions what to do please let me know.
