Feeding my collards pinkies.

Just found out that some feed their collards pinkies. I am a new owner of 2 collareds M/F. How old shoud they be when you introduce them to pinkies. My female is approx 4-5 months old and a big pig. Was worried about my male but since the longer days have started he is back to eating superworms which he wouldn't touch for the last few months to the point of force feeding him every 3/4 days. For the last 2 weeks he has been gobbling up the superworms. So now I'm blaming it on the winter and the fact where I'm new I didn't let him brumate. Also questioning whether he was bred in captivity like they told me or if he was caught. I removed three thorns from his ?feet? in the first month I had him. Such wonderful creatures. I'm injoying these 2 beauties immensely. Thanks for any help.
