So the adults went under right at the time the babies hatched---hummmmmm. In June--hummmmmmm. Most babies , in habitat, hatch in Aug- Sept even though I assume some could hatch earlier( like multiple clutches)and the adults are goners by late Sept or very early Oct. The adults stay under till March or April--- the babies will pop out in mid to late Feb.( which can be fatal here!!) John, maybe yours will stay under till spring and then get on a more normal pattern. By the looks of the female, she will be fine till July--- what a round one she is ( politically correct method of calling your DI a fat a$$!! ) .

Stay warm up there!!!

David
