i would have to agree with the first post. it's usually because they're bred carelessly and don't care about color. it all depends on where the pet store is getting them from. i hear lllreptile and xtreme reptiles dont have very good patterns if that helps out at all.

::ok this may ssound stupid but, my question is that in all the pictures you see of veiled chams they are like a green with yellow side splotches but every pet store in colo has veileds that are solid green with no variation in skin color what does this mean? could the altitude or low humidity of colorado cause this? please help me i am hesitant to buy chameleons if they are not the color most breeders post so thx in advance. JK
