Veiled Chameleon question

Sometimes chams yawn during their morning warm up session. It may have been a big stretch of the jaw and tongue muscles. They don't normally make any noise except a hiss or a vibration type buzz. When he's about ready to leave the basking area he may start gaping to cool off.
