Qustion about Cup Feeding...

I feel really dumb posting this, but I can't quite figure this out.

I hear about peoeple feeding their chams from cups or bowls. How exactly do you do this? I've put crickets in teh fridge for a few min, so they slow down, and then tried putting them in the cup so my cham could go eat them, but before my cham got around to going over there and starting to watch them, the crickets were up and jumping out of the cup. Same goes with all other insects I try feeding,they get out of hte cup and wander the cage.

What's the trick to it?
