Veiled Chameleons

I have been researching tons of info. on Veiled Chameleons for about the last year or so. I guess what I would like to know is are they as difficult to keep as a lot of people say? Or does the amount of work involved in keeping a Veiled turn into a reward for the owner because they are so fascinating and super cool and beautiful?!? Is it a matter of perspective when considering purchasing a veiled? All responses welcomed!!! Thanks.
