hi. you say he isnt fliking his toungue out very far, some chameleon eat differently, some like distance, some like to get up really close and just flick it out about an inch. MBD can damage the toungue, i guess that could be a reason. if he can flick his toungue out, even if its just a inch, i dont think theres much of a problem.
