a lot of the temp. has to do with what you're keeping the cage in. if it has all screen sides i'd use 150 watt. flood lamp style bulbs or higher depending on what the room temp is usually set at. that's just me personally though. you'll probably have to experiment with it a little bit to get it set just right.
