Bran is usually found in the cereal isle, near the warm cereals (cream of wheat and such). It's usually pretty pricy, tho (nearly $3 for a tiny little box).

If you can find a feed store in your area, you can buy a big bag of red bran for about $2 (10 lb bag). You might not see it on the shelves, so don't be shy to ask an employee.

If all else fails, you can try using some All Bran cereal and slightly crushing it with a blender or food processor.
