Kaitlyn,

I'd run your basking temperatures at 85 or slightly higher. If he gets too warm he can always leave the basking spot to cool off. The additional heat will increase his appetite, activity levels and help his immune system get back on track. I use very thick foliage with my jacksons as it retains humidity better, gives a range of temps so they can control it themselves, and allows them plenty of places to hide helping to reduce the stress.
