Many chameleons grow at different rates, not all chameleon grow the same, like humans. There also is a possiblilty that one could be male the other female, Females are smaller the males. If they look healty, well hydrated, eating, drinking, alert, got a good grip, and things like that, you havnt got much to worry about.
