Question about baby veileds?

I recently got two baby veileds at an expo. They were two months old when I got them. I seperated them about two weeks ago when I noticed that one was outgrowing the other. The larger of the two is doing great, he has almost tripled his size since I got him. The other one however hasn't shown much growth. I have seen him eat but he seems to hide when ever I come around. Today I say him catch a cricket and as soon as he saw me he spit it out and ran and hid. I try to stay away from his cage as much as possible but I do have to feed and water him. He has to be eating though because he poops an awful lot.

Any suggestions would be appriciated.
Thanks
Dawn
