I would give it another shot. My first batch of crix didn't hatch, but the next one yeilded MANY MANY MANY tiny crix. Just try again, and if still no luck, try and get some more advice. I haven't yet done silkworms, so I'm not really sure what problems there could be. Is the container for the cocoons open or closed? I know that I had a mold problem when my crix were in a rubbermaid tub with just drilled airholes. I had to cut out the top and glue in screen, now everything is good. Same with my mealies. It was just to moist for them.
