Hi- Yes CB animals can and will get parasites, and can get it from there food source. The flys could be using the poo for nesting grounds, the best way to know for sure is to get the poo checked by a vet for parasites. You will need the freshes sample you can get, so try to get it right after he does his duty. Hope this helps!

:right, as i was cleaning out my panther today, there are small 'ticks' in his stool. they just look like mites?, could it be parasites even tho my panther is CB. also latley there has been loads of small flys in my chameleons cage, could they be laying eggs and in his stool n there hatching into 'larve'?
