Well, I do not have a cage as fancy as you would like to have, but close. I have just a plywood bottom with floor panneling on it. I have a good sized ficus in there with her. She loves to nibble on it, I see no signs of any problem, with her of the tree. I do have my light right on top of the cage, and she has never climbed on the light if that is what you mean. she will go to her basking spot just under it. I have a sprayer that is hand pumped that sits on top of the cage that is aimed right over the ficus. I do not have to hold the pump, it has a little button that will let it spray by itself. The ficus and Abby get watered at the same time.

Karen:)
