If he is only eating the worms when they are crawling up the side, will he eat the crix when they are crawling up the side? I made a cool cup feeding technique I saw somewhere on the web. You may want to try it out...

Ok you take a plastic milk jug and clean it out good, then cut off the front of the carton to the sides and leave enough at the bottom that crix can't crawl out. Then puncture some holes in the bottom for drainage. Then use some cauk and glue some screen to the inside of the carton far enough from the sides that the crix can't reach the side to crawl out. Then the crix will be able to crawl up on the side but will still be contained. Maybe trigger something... Good luck
