could he just be RETARDED?

okay...I know that was mean...BUT....

As everyone knows Zoe has not been eating on his own for about...oh I don't know...practically FOREVER now.

This morning when I got home from work, I was sitting a little ways away from his enclosure, just watching...and you know what he did?????

He shot his tongue...a good 5 inches! AT A ROCK! He got it too, I heard it hit his teeth! He spit that out, and then did it again right away!

I have the rocks on top of the soil in the plants because he keeps shooting at the vermiculite. I just don't get him!
At least I know his tongue works again! but ROCKS??

He has crickets and mealies, and he chooses rocks!?

He's just not right!
