I remember reading about a crix tube feeder connected to a bin (the crix could find the tube, wander into the cham cage and get eaten), but can't remember where i saw it. I would be concerned that loose uneaten crix could chew on the cham at night. You could put a plastic storage box with gutload etc. in the bottom of the cage and let him shoot the crix over a few days. I'd also be concerned about air humidity. If no one is spraying during the week the dripper might not be enough. Do you have a humidifier on the cage normally? Someone may have to check things over once during the week.
