....I've just acquired myself a baby grayband king. I thought I'ds asked all the pertinent questions, having owned and still owning snakes...but I forgot one! Now I'm screwed.
The breeder neglected to mention that she'd been eating because he'd been forcing her. He's a few states away and she's beautiful, but I've never force fed a snake before and she's so small, it looks like it ought to hurt her.
I've put her ina cup and small sack over night witha live pinky, I've scented it with lizard maker and anoles...we're going to try 'brianing' - a friend of mine said that had worked for HIM....
Do you have any other suggestions on what to do if she won't eat?
