I am flattered to be getting the only female you're letting go of. Good news...I weighed my female yesterday and she weighed an even 1,000 grams, so this fall, they should be a go.

:Here's a pile of baby IJs when they hatched last week. All of the 10 eggs hatched but we ended up with 7.3. Kind of a bummer as I was hoping to keep a few females but oh well. I'll have to settle for keeping two girls instead. Anthony, there's still one girl for you. Don't worry!
:Next season is going to be a great one as even more of our nicest IJs will be breeding and we should get many more eggs.
:Nonetheless we are very pleased with these babies. Many of them look very bright and more red than I am used to seeing. Only time will tell...but lineage sure helps too!
