Here's a pile of baby IJs when they hatched last week. All of the 10 eggs hatched but we ended up with 7.3. Kind of a bummer as I was hoping to keep a few females but oh well. I'll have to settle for keeping two girls instead. Anthony, there's still one girl for you. Don't worry!
Next season is going to be a great one as even more of our nicest IJs will be breeding and we should get many more eggs.
Nonetheless we are very pleased with these babies. Many of them look very bright and more red than I am used to seeing. Only time will tell...but lineage sure helps too!
