Understand that the above list is not absolute. They are more than willing to add another species or subspecies to that list. The list represents what is generally available and fits their defintion of illegal.
Note that they specifically outlaw species where exceeding 6' for snakes or 5' for lizards is not necessarily common.
Omaha has historically has something of a don't ask, don't tell policy but that has changed recently. From my understanding someone was turned if for having something that was "technically" illegal and that started a chain of similar events. Now Omaha is trying to be much more ojective and consistent about the application and enforcement of their laws.
I assume you are on temporary duty in Omaha so I'm sure that makes things tough for you. Wish I could offer some prudent advice.
