Thanks for the ideas Chris. I like the look of wood. If it's going to be in my living room wood looks more appropriate.

Ben Seigal has a web site: www.albinonile.com
Go there an looks in the colubrid section and there you'll see he has some Janseni listed.

That's a really nice cage you built. I hope I can somewhat duplicate that a few times. I have 4 really nice beardeds. I want to build something for my Cuban Iguanas too.
I'm wondering what did you coat the wood with?
Thanks,
Frank

:::Home Depot in my area offers Melamine in 8'X4' sheet.

:It's probably 49" x 97" but is listed as 4' x 8'.

:::Also they offer 8'X4' sheets of OAK and Birch.

:This will make excellent furniture quality cages. I'll post a picture of a cage I built using leftover birch laminated plywood. A much nicer cage could be built from this material, but I was in a hurry and using leftover material. Regardless, the cage looks great and much better in person than in this picture.

:::I got a router, circular saw, and a wireless drill. It all came together in a DEWALT Kit.

:I built the cage pictured with a circular saw, a straigh-edge, and a cordless drill. Takes longer but it can be done.

:::I know Ben Seigal has some listed right now.

:I did not see that add. Is it on kingsnake?
