Sugestions on what type of thermostat to use in our barn

Ok I talked to my parents agin, and my father want to put our boa back inside, but my step mom still says no, so we have desided to go ahead and get a thermostat.

What type of thermostat would ya'll recomemed using? We live in louisiana, so it gets pretty hot during the summer, and kindof cold during the winter, so i'm sure we would need something that would work well.

And anything else that we would need please tell me..
