There are many many factors that govern what snakes may average. So it's nearly impossible to say what a burm averages. But females usually will average anywhere from 11 to 13 feet if decently fed. But if they are raised right and fed very well they can average 13 to 15 feet. If they are never bred it may be much more. If their genetic line is one of smaller burmese pythons then maybe it will be much less regardless of the above. I personally feed my female pythons very well and they average about 10 feet at one year. On the other hand I feed my males decently (1 moderate meal weekly or bi-monthly) and they average about 7 feet at one year. Hope this helps. But don't let the potential size of a burm dissuade you from getting one. They can make wonderful pets even if very large.
:I always thought I would only own short Pythons, like Bloods Balls and Macklots. Until I got my adult Carpet. They say they can get 10 feet sometimes but shes not that long at all. They say Burns will get 17...but Im asking you what is the average length? I wouldnt mind to get a Burm as a pet, but if they really get as big as they say..then I would have to pass up. Thanks for all the info in advance.
