:Hi
: I am more worndering if peg baord is waterproof or would be alright for the interior of a cage. I am planning on using it as a gaurd on the side walls of the cage so my snake cannot get to the flexwatt. Any suggestions
I would think that each little hole in it would just be a breeding ground for yuck. You can get plastic pegboard...so in that sense waterproof. But most pegboard is masonite and NOT waterproof at all.
If you have your flexwatt on a rheostat or dimmer switch than you shouldn't worry. And if you don't have it on one of them then you aren't running it well as the instructions say to run it at 95. Or at least the instructions I got with mine says that.
