Well I haven't seen packaging because I haven't bought it yet, but the guy in the reptile centre definately said to put it in the viv. I asked several times because it didn't sound like a great idea to me!

:It's not supposed to go under the cage? Did you read the packaging? It's a bad idea to put heating elements inside the cage.
