I will agree that biologically speaking, -frozen, pre-killed prey removes practically all chances of harm(infection,bites) to your snake. I always use a reputable supplier of clean rats for my snakes and will admit that in 6 years my boa was bitten once.
My only point is that my being "into it" includes all aspects of snake/reptile fascination that includes their inherent efficiency at killing as WELL AS habits, beauty, handling, etc.
