There is a danger of keeping 20 some turtles together and that has to do with the spead of disease. I know of several people who have had a virilent bacterial or viral disease go through their herd. When your herd is separated into groups of say, 10, then if you do have a problem there is less chance of everyone getting sick. But your pen looks good and with the expansion it will be better. :To give you an idea of the size of the pen already not including the expansion, heres a picture of an adult turtle in one of the corners of the pen. This view is about 1/4 of the pen's current size. This pen has 24 turtles in it, so there is still plenty of room for them but with the addition of the 25 babies later this year and the liklihood of getting about 20 more babies this year, it needs to be expanded.
