I once heard an anecdotal report of a boxie living only a day after eating rhurbarb stalk pieces. Not enough to be evidence for a rule, but alarming perhaps. I know it's recommended that sick or pregnant or broken limbed people not eat it; I assume because of the oxalic acid. I choose just to not add it to my turtle's diet "just in case".
