I'm now the proud owner of a baby Florida Box Turtle. (I saved it from my dog.) The reptile guy who told me what it was said it is anywhere from 6 months to one year. It's about the size of a silver dollar. He told me that with proper care it would probably have a better chance of reaching adulthood in captivity and later could be returned to the wild with no problem. I'd like to know if you agree with him and I'd like any advice you can give me. I'm reading everything I can find. It ate a worm last nite. Thanks!
