Your turtle has been ill for a month, but by changing the bedding and the lighting you've cured it in less than 24 hours. Plus you've gone from having no access to a vet that treats reptiles to finding one an hours drive away. Must be your lucky day. I'd advise you to buy lottery tickets with luck like that.
