I personally think a blood would be a better pet. I use to own a Borneo and she was great. I bought her as a baby and I think that made all the difference. They are still pretty huffy though. Tame...But, they huff and puff a lot. Mine rarely struck. She did enjoy thrashing though. LOL!
I really don't think Vipers make good pets. That is just my opinion. The only ones I have seen are pretty fiesty. That, and they can be problem feeders at times. They really are neat little snakes........Just not good pets IMHO.
Bloods are great animals........They do take quite a bit of work though. You need to have a really good cage that holds humidy well. I think they need a lot more care and maintenance than other snakes. Very rewarding animals to own. But, be prepared to work a lot more with them.
