I have been doing this for quite some time with my Chondros, and just started injecting fuzzies for my two baby South Brazilians. It works great for keeping them all fairly regular, and I also do this to increase hydration. Supplemental hydration isn't always necessary, but I live in the Rocky Mountians where the humidity levels are usually around 20-30%, and any extra water I can get into their systems appears to be beneficial. I just pump the feeder up enough to where it begins to swell, and wouldn't be too hard for the snake to get down.
