I'm new--need low maintenance, smallish, vegan

Hi, I'm writing this for a friend who is interested in buying a lizard. He's looking for one that will do well in a 20gal tank (at least to start), one he doesn't have to feed crickets or other live insects/worms to and a fairly low maintenance lizard. He plans to do research himself, but I came across this site and found there are lots of knowledgable folks here. Would appreciate any help or suggestions.
