For leos, they have a V shaped row of pores by the vent. They are much more pronounced in the males, the females are the same colour as the skin. You should also be able to see a row of hemipenal bulges. You can probably sex them around 6 inches, but if you are expirenecd, you can sex themearlier. I think that it is generaly the same for most eyelid geckos, so it would probably work for the texas banded gecko. I have a book that tells you ahev to sex them, i think and i will tell you if i get anymore info. Hope this helps
