DO YOUR REASEARCH!! Why would you buy a lizard and not know anything about it. Dont try and blame it on the pet store, it is your responsibilty to know as much about it as you can. It sounds like it might be a Water dragon, so try and keeps the cage ate 80-90degrees F. BUT I AM ONLY HELPING YOU BECAUSE I DONT WANT YOUR LIZARD TO DIE. As for substrate, try newspaper, aspen bedding or corn cob rodent bedding. BUT DO YOUR REASERCH!!!
