Make sure that your bark substrate can not be swallowed by the gecko. If he swallows a piece that is too big, he could become impacted. They do not always have the best aim when trying to grab crickets, mealworms, ect. so they sometimes swallow some of the substrate. Congratulations though, and I hope you are happy with your new leo. Andy
