i went out and bought a new cover for my tank but the crickets are still escaping. what should i do about this? and also, my crickets have been dying off at an incredibly fast rate. Make sure you give the critters a very good quality UVB light like a Reptisun 5.0, plenty of climbing vines and branches, mist them a couple times/day, and gut-load their crickets. Sprinkle the crickets with a good calcium powder supplement every other feeding.
